My suggestion is to try out a demo platform which every fx broker will have. Most popular ones run on MT4.0 ....
However, only overseas ones run on MT4.0 (meta trader 4.0)
I personally prefer MT4.0 platforms as it allows me to use Expert Advisors and FX robot softwares which monitor my trades and do my trades for me when I am sleeping. Hello, no one can stand 24 hrs lah.
I signed up with ibfx.com on mini trades last year and which I invested only US$250 which is the minimum to start fx. Otherwise a standard trade account is min. US$2500.00
avafx.com offers $100 mini trade account with $50 sign up bonus.
But I still prefer ibfx for its MT4.0 and popularity.
Using the fx robot which costs US$97, I just leave my computer on, set up my parameters, I make around US$1000 - US$1500 per month.
That is based on a US$250 initial investment which grew to US3000 account with ibfx but I still do mini trades. Standard trades earn more but higher risk loh.
Play around with the demo account with ibfx to have a feel if fx is for you. If so, my suggestion is to open a mini account. Then buy the fx robot software and let it run for you.
The software is just like those programs which you use to play for you on your behalf for online games like A3, Starcraft etc.
